Dines Earns Second Straight Heart Golfer of the Week Award

BALDWIN CITY - After finishing second at the Central Plains Invite this past week, Gavin Dines has earned his second consecutive Heart of America Men's Golfer of the Week award. 

Dines started the tournament with a score of even par at 72, but fired off a great round in round two for a 67 to sit at -5 for the tournament. Dines then went one under par in the final round to take home second place in a field of 42 golfers. 

After clinching the Heart championship in the spring, Dines opened up his 2025 fall season by winning the individual title at Friends' home tournament last week to earn Heart Player of the Week and has now earned the award for the second time this season.

Dines and the Wildcats are in action again on Oct. 13-14, when they travel to Parkville, Mo., to compete in the Virginia McCoy Invite.
