Glinka Earns Wildcats’ Second Straight Heart Men’s Bowler of the Week Award

BALDWIN CITY - Logan Glinka of the Baker men's bowling team earned Heart Men's Bowler of the Week honors following his performance at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, hosted by BU, this past weekend.

Glinka, a freshman from Topeka, Kan., totaled 1,044 pins in five games for a 208.8 average, placing him 12th individually at the Wildcats' first home tournament of the season. Glinka registered the highest score among NAIA bowlers at the tournament, which featured over 230 total men's competitors.

Glinka becomes the second straight Wildcat to receive the conference's weekly award on the men's side, joining teammate Ryan Julian, who earned the first one of the season last week.

The Wildcats will take a weekend off before hitting the lanes again, gearing up for the Leatherneck Classic on Nov. 8-9 in Rockford, Ill.
