Juelsgaard & Kramer Earn Heart of America Player of the Week Honors
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Coming off a huge win over William Woods on Saturday, 68-14, Truman Juelsgaard and Zac Kramer have earned Heart of America Football Player of the Week honors, presented by Musco Lighting.
Juelsgaard was named the Offensive Player of the Week after having just two incompletions and racking up five touchdowns. He only played one series in the second half but had 277 yards passing and three touchdown passes. He also added two rushing touchdowns.
Kramer was named the Defensive Player of the Week as he returned an interception for a touchdown while also collecting six tackles. Kramer's pick-six was the third of his Baker career.
Juelsgaard, Kramer and the rest of the Baker football team head into the bye week with a South Division record of 2-0. They will be back at home on Saturday, Oct. 18, when they host MidAmerica Nazarene at 6 p.m., at Liston Stadium and Don Parker Field.
