Wildcats Earn National Championship at 2025 DTU College Classic

ORLANDO, Fla. - For the second time in the past three years, the Baker dance team came away with a national championship as they claimed three top-three finishes, including a first-place performance in Pom, at the 2025 DTU College Classic this past weekend in Orlando, Fla.

The Wildcats earned a score of 87.60 in the finals of the Pom division, topping second-place Dordt (85.44) and third-place Texas A&M - San Antonio (82.08). It was BU's first DTU national title since taking first in Team Performance at the 2023 competition.

Baker took home runner-up honors in Team, matching its finish from last year's event, and placed third in Hip-Hop with a mark of 85.30 in Saturday's finals.

BU closes out a 2024-25 competition season that saw them qualify for the NAIA National Championships for the ninth straight season, earn a second-place finish at the Heart Championships and top it off with a DTU national championship.
